Why Café Valeur
Café Valeur grew out of a need we have felt ourselves in Albertslund. We have missed a place where you can meet family and friends, sit down, enjoy good coffee, bubble tea or other quality drinks, and simply feel comfortable together.
We want to create a place focused on time together, genuine connection and good experiences. Somewhere to relax, play board games, laugh together and meet other people in a welcoming atmosphere.
As a family, we have been looking for exactly this kind of place in our town. That is why we want to create somewhere we would choose to visit again and again.
Why Albertslund?
Albertslund Centrum brings together the station, retail, culture, public services and housing within a compact area. This means different groups already use the centre as a natural part of their everyday routines.
Café Valeur is not designed to become another traditional food-led café. Our focus is quality drinks, board games and social time — a place people actively choose to spend time.
Location
Albertslund Station and bus connections are close to the centre, making the café easy to reach for both local residents and visitors.
Audience
Young people, families, employees, commuters and older residents use the area for different reasons and at different times of day.
Concept
Quality coffee, bubble tea, board games and genuine connection rather than a concept centred around traditional main meals.
The planned premises
The planned premises in Albertslund Centrum are approximately 100.5 m². The size is intended to support a cosy and welcoming café with comfortable seating and a close connection between guests and hosts.
Pre-launch
We are currently in the pre-launch phase and seeking financing for the setup and opening of Café Valeur.
Let's talk
The people behind Café Valeur
We will establish and run Café Valeur ourselves. Both of us will be actively involved in the café, its guests and the day-to-day operation.
Bob: Operations, finances, purchasing, technology and the practical aspects of the business.
Julie: Guest experience, staff, cakes, service and day-to-day customer care.
Financing
Estimated capital required · approx. DKK 350,000–500,000
We are open to loans and financing from one or more lenders, as well as investment from one or more investors, including a minority investor. The financing structure and terms will be agreed through discussion.
The capital will be used for setup, furnishings, equipment, opening stock and the necessary working capital around opening.
